We have further developed our FlowerCollector and this robotic solution is now suitable for automatically collecting a wide variety of flower types and (mixed) bouquets and placing them in buckets!
Due to the increasing shortage of good labourers, there is a growing need in the flower industry to automate labour-intensive tasks. The application of industrial robots can offer a solution. Robots can be used flexibly for repetitive tasks, they are immune to diseases, deliver stable quality and have the ability to work 24/7.
That is why in 2019 we developed the first FlowerCollector, where a robot automatically places bunches of tulips into buckets at the end of a line. In recent years we have further developed the FlowerCollector so that it is suitable not only for tulips, but also for roses, chrysanthemums, spray carnations, gypsophila, alstroemeria and many other flower varieties. In addition, the FlowerCollector can also handle mixed bouquets. This allows this robot solution to be tailored to the user's needs.
